PGDs for the supply of levonorgestrel and ulipristal under the Public Health Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC) Locally Commissioned Service have been further extended until 30th September 2025 , to allow Public Health and the ICB time to undertake the necessary processes required. Emergency Hormonal Contraception (pharmacy delivered) Public Health LCS
This locally commissioned service (LCS) provides access to emergency hormonal contraception. This service is provided within the criteria specified by the Patient Group Direction.
Eligibility Criteria: aged 13 to 24 (inclusive) requesting Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC) following an incident of Unprotected Sexual Intercourse (UPSI) or failure of a contraceptive method
