Camden Needle and Syringe Exchange (NEX)

The local authority is currently reviewing the locally commissioned services and as a result, the current specifications for the LCS period of 1 April 2024- 31 March 2025 will roll over to cover the first quarter of the new financial year, being from 1 April 2025 to 31 June 2025.

Needle Exchange (pharmacy-delivered)

This locally commissioned service (LCS ) provides access to sterile needles and syringes, and sharps containers for return of used equipment as described in the service specification.

Eligibility criteria: all adult (aged 18 years or over) injectors (including steroid users) who are using drugs illicitly.
